Actually 3 days out Katrina was a cat. 5 hurricane. People were told to get out of New Orleans and the gulf coast in general.

Erica will be a windy rain storm by the time it hits Florida.

The wind won't be the issue. It's the flooding that will happen. I'm in Florida and we've had too much rain this month. This will make it worse. It will cause issues all over the state in terms of damage from flooding.
