Customers who ship NDA have early pickups specifically to accommodate our flight schedule. Most of these customers get another pickup in the afternoon for ground and 2DA.

I have no idea. I would assume they would just hold them and tender them late. I just pulled up all the UPS flights from Ancourage-Louisville and they have 5 flights that leave between 1430-1530 local. But keep in mind a lot of that is probably stuff from China/Japan/Korea.

I have a feeling people in Alaska are used to weird stuff like this.

Yes our outbound NDA volume piggybacks on one of the Asia to Louisville flights. But of course those flight s are timed to be in Louisville for the overnight sort as well.

Do they have 2 flights? With the second wave of packages picked up after the cut off time getting delayed a day? Or do they just hold those packages to send to Louisville the next day?

Yes there is a 2nd flight that goes out around midnight that takes our 2DA air and ground. Ups has "ground" service level to/from Alaska but it still goes on a plane between Alaska and either Louisville or Ontario, California.
