Abrams’ statistic is wrong.
Under Kemp, Georgia was one of the first states to reopen businesses.
Between April 24 and April 27, restaurants, gyms, beauty parlors and a number of other kinds of businesses began to welcome customers, so long as they followed rules to keep patrons separated and took other measures to prevent infection.
In the 12 days before April 24, when Kemp began easing restrictions, Georgia had a total of 9,695 confirmed coronavirus cases.
In the 12 days after (which coincides with Abrams’ interview), Georgia reported about 1,100 fewer confirmed cases, 8,549.
Overall, comparing the two time periods, cases in Georgia decreased 12% after the reopening. They didn’t increase 40%.

I am mostly in my house but I have 8 acres and 650 feet creek frontage so I'm outside a good bit doing what I can using a rollator.
I need to post a picture of me mowing the grass while sitting in my rollator.
I am going to doctor appts if I go off property.
I go to the grocery store once a week when they allow old people like me in for an hour (although it's been 2 weeks).
So sheltering on my place!
My wife goes out but she is careful and uses Lysol wipes and changes clothes once she gets home.
It gives me an excuse to not go around her, so it works out.

Nah ... never got into it.
Although I did like salmon fishing in Alaska.
I love to eat fish though ... that's one of the things I miss the most is eating fish.
I am getting my camping grill set up on my patio outside the basement.
We don't cook fish inside the house!
I want some grilled salmon!
