This would be proper flag etiquette; however, flags are not cheap so, in most cases, they simply carried on as though nothing happened. Kind of like the 5 second rule.

You're full of also----burning a flag that happened to touch the ground has never been "proper etiquette". Proper etiquette only states that a flag "should not" touch the ground ---but if it does its not the end of the world.

Now where is that story about a couple who were renting a house and decided to fly the Nazi flag as a protest against Trump .
Well the neighbors went wild , slashed their vehicle tires, made death threats against them and they are being forced to move. The renting company is even letting them break the lease and/or move into another property that they manage . Also a GoFundMe site has been established to help cover some of their moving costs.

My proudly public (not charter) school taught us flag etiquette, and they burned a few when kids dropped them on the ground during flag-raising etc. It was always handled very ceremoniously. The flag would be folded, escorted by a teacher to the basement, and then incinerated in the school furnace. It would immediately be replaced.

Principal was ex-USMC, so maybe that was their etiquette, not the state's. Just saying that's how we did it in our Leninist state.

Since there is no set limit on how many are needed on the SJC .
Trump should appoint a new member every month while in office .
That would tie up the democrats from ever attending .
Then the GOP would be free to ram any Bill they wish down the American people's throat just like the way Obamacare was done .

That's not how it worked for republicans. The GOP was rewarded for blatant obstructionism while in the opposition. I imagine that will be true for democrats as well.
