Yeah carbs and grains are definitely important. I eat a lot of oatmeal and rice and the like. As far as the meat goes, I know they could never sustain everyone, but a portion of the population is smart enough to go through local farmers knowing that most people are ignorant to it. I don't think we will ever have to worry about it catching on to the point where they can't keep up. Most people are just content eating fast food every day or eating canned or frozen foods.

Well, there is definitely an agenda shared by certain people to put an end to meat eating all together. They are trying to consolidate meat production, and I wouldn't be surprised if the end goal weren't to shut down the industry. If that happened, local producers would be the only way to get meat. I know independent ranchers are trying to combine their resources to build their own processing plants, and I hope they are successful.

I agree mostly with what you're saying, but processed and preserved foods also play a key role in ensuring large populations get enough calories. The saying goes that carbs (as well as processed/preserved foods) are great for civilization, not so good for the individual. I think we could probably get by without many/most of the artificial preservatives that may be harmful for long term, continual consumption, but it is unlikely that everyone could eat a perfectly healthy diet and still have enough calories to go around. This is why I get pretty irritated at people who are judgmental towards others with unhealthy diets (not saying you are such a person, but I bring it up with you because you are pretty reasonable and easy to discuss things with).

To the haters, if everyone ate perfectly and didn't get fat or develop metabolic disorders, there would be a price to pay somewhere else. Eat some damn ice cream, mashed potatoes with gravy, or a chocolate frosting filled powdered donut from dunkin from time to time, and enjoy life. I for one enjoy the occasional velveta on white bread grilled cheese sandwich with instant top ramen. Ain't nothing natural about any of that, but it sure beats starving to death. To people who eat that stuff non-stop, eat some damn broccoli from time to time.

As of Oct. 29 , a total of 208 reports of death following receipt of a COVID-19 vaccine had been reported through the Canadian Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance System, or CAEFISS, and Health Canada’s Canada Vigilance Program. Of those, 79 deaths were deemed unlikely linked to a COVID vaccine, 82 deaths lacked sufficient information to make an assessment and 47 were still under investigation. Seven of those deaths involved the blood clotting complication.

so funny (not funny) how most deaths for last 2 years were considered covid if you tested positive(turned up testing cycle while Trump was in) if you got shot in the head and died but tested positive for covid it was considered a covid death(hospitals were paid $76,000 to mark as covid) but now for vaccine deaths it's the complete opposite, if you get the second jab and die walking out the door it's listed as covid because your not considered fully vaccied until 2 weeks after 2nd dose. we are living in very dangerous times.
