I just don't understand how you equate. Obesity and childhood obesity are not supported by republicans on any front, it is not solely a republican issue, democrats and republicans alike make money from the huge food industry. Support for child mutilation is solely a left (admittedly extreme) wing issue. I don't see Chuck Schumer pushing any bills to end the supply of fig newtons and candy bars.

While I agree that childhood obesity is a far greater issue and is disgusting, I don't know how you connect the two.

The study uses ages 10-13. There are parents starting trans procedures much earlier now, and medical professionals are helping it proceed. Regardless, transitional treatments should be illegal until the child turns 18.

Obesity has a correlation with most any demographic with self-esteem issues, not just specifically your select group. Obesity can be avoided or overcome with appropriate psychological treatment. Realizing you shouldn't have cut your tits off and had a chemical hysterectomy when you were 11 cannot be overcome.
