Doubtful, Trump is a different kind of animal.
Trump is not the bogeyman. He’s also not our savior. I can Disagree with many things he’s done and said. But I can also see that they are trying to drag his name through the mud with no real reason other than vindictiveness. Personally, I think it’s backfiring. The best way to upset a narcissist is to ignore them. They just can’t do it.

"Doctor or government" = apples and oranges.
Most of us here are fortunate enough to be able to use the doctor(s) of our choice, virtually free out of pocket.
As a "dumb truck driver", that choice of provider is as much as I am qualified to access, so I choose to trust that doctor's extensive training, medical community resources and experience to provide me sound medical treatment.
Now the government and our elected representatives, bound to a binary partisan process?
....not a chance of the same "blind trust" as you put it.
