Fascism

fascism in a sense may be the wrong word to use when describing whats wrong with our politics in the same way comparing capitalism with socialism or government evokes certain responses based on propaganda.

what if the right word to describe where we are headed is authoritarian as well? obama and bush were certainly a slide in that direction.

Authoritarianism and Fascism go hand in hand. Trump is a slide towards both, but Republicans call it "freedom" because they are too dumb to figure it out.

Where in the U.S. is free speech under attack? Our universities, bastions of liberal ideology. If you're worried about authoritarianism and fascism you must be very concerned about our universities.

Right Wing talking point 101. This stems from some college campuses not wanting Milo Yanonopolous or similar people to have forums because they incite violence. Yes, your fascist president wants to assure the rights of Neo-Right types to have free speech on our college campuses.

He wants to protect Right Wing rights, just like his religious freedom nonsense protects only Christians.

I'm going to start calling you Bubble Boy.

Who's inciting violence? Only ones I see being violent on university campuses are liberals trying to shut down everything they don't like. And who's taking away religious freedom from non-Christians? Only ones I see under attack, and I don't mean verbally, are Christians. I don't see crowds of Christians going after Muslims, but every time you turn around there's a non-Christian trying to shut down any expression of our faith. Or force us to violate our conscience. You're a fascist, and it's impossible for you to deny it with your constant attacks.

That right, you can say anything you like, but if I point it out I've got a complex. Duly noted.

You seem intelligent, but straitjacketed by rigid ideology and theology. Christianity is failing because many people see it's hypocrisy and political connections in this country. For an increasing number of people it's irrelevant and not believable.

Yananopoulos and the Alt Right Proud Boys types certainly have a right to speak, but the disruption and violence they cause on both sides make most venues understandably nervous.

But it's all conservative speakers being protested and denied a right to speak. Physically attacked. The Left has gone berserk on campus.

No sir. The Far Right has showed up at plenty of these events to "protect" the speakers. Joey Gibson of Patriot Prayer comes to mind as an excellent example of someone who like to stir the pot and bait both the Right and Left, hopefully into conflict.

He's a phony, and a disgusting human being.

The far Right is showing up on university campuses to protect conservative speakers? Where? The speakers are being told they can't speak by the universities due to student protests. Getting shut down everywhere for some time now.
