Anyone want to take bets on what the actual pay action will be?
Who here says 3% across the board?
$0.50 for all drivers?
Step increase for all plus a 3% for top of range?
Just an early raise in April, and nothing in October?

You were bragging about something that didn't even make sense and once some questions were presented, you had to admit you left out some facts. Now you say what "she said" happened. You stated your original post as fact. You and bacha have a lot in common. Both got caught making stuff up because it made for a better story.
As usual, you speak, my B S detector goes off.
Bragging? No. You’re a funny little troll. I left out A fact. It was always what SHE said happened. How else would I have known? Obviously, I wasn’t there with her and the police or her and the mechanic. Lol. Okay. Back on ignore you go. Toodles.

Whatever the raise is, you will whine and complain.
It could be a 10% raise in April and none in October and you and OP would find a reason to be unhappy.

You are badly mistaken. You actually think starting pay for vehicle mechanic is over 40 an hour. Not even close. Ours dont even top out there. The last raise put our mechanics top out at 32 and change. I looked into and interviewed for a position 2 years ago and top pay was 27 something back then. 2 raises later they arent even close to what you say starting pay is.
Then you are obviously in some backwoods micro market. 5 years ago a mechanic with 2 ASE's was making $40/hrs here.

Ha! You're a bassackwards driver in a backwoods market!

Earlier you said starting pay is $40 an hour. That means they should top out over $50 an hour. That isn't far from Aircraft mechanic starting pay. Little bit but not much. They aren't paying our vehicle mechanics $50 an hour. As usual, you haven't a clue. Bummer

If top market courier makes about $9 more than my market, a top market mechanic could be $10 more than mine. If top pay here is $32 something, Top pay in higher market might be $42. According to you that is starting pay. Just not true.

Wage scale could be completely different than drivers. Just as it's completely different for Freight drivers.

Doesnt matter. No way a vehicle mechanic starting pay is $40 an hour no matter what market it is.

Freight is a different company. Our mechanics still work for Express

They outsource engine and transmission work at my station and we have four mechanics.
That's actually understandable. They would need a full machine shop to rebuild engines and transmissions are more of a specialty. Most techs don't want to touch a tranny much less know how to rebuild them nor have the proper tools.

I was surprised when one of the UPS mechanics on here said he’s responsible for about 50 trucks AND does engine work.

Not impossible. Needs the space and time. If he works nights where all the trucks are in then he would have time to do engines. But I doubt he has a machine shop. More than likely still sends any machine work out.
