Preload is very physical work. A lot of end range motions. But definitely not the mental pressure of driving.

On road, you don't have sociopaths in polos standing, staring, watching you, for minutes or even hours. Not even a blink. Just trying to get a reaction and degrade you mentally. That's the UPS preload I know. It's really a sickening operation and place to work.
