Free old sweaty dynamite for any of you guys who want it.It is usually just Amazon trying to clear out their warehouses of crap that they can't sell at slightly reduced prices. Unlikely to have many real bargains.
In the local I work out of, you can't work a summer vacation. That's just not right.I was supposed to be in feeders this week. Bosses called everyone on vacation to see if anyone wanted to work. Bums me out.
Irregs have been a problem, chokes up the system and package cars.A little off topic, have you noticed the we're getting a ton of large packages coming through? Seems like more than normal recently.
Wonder what happened to the huge fee we were charging for oversized stuff.Irregs have been a problem, chokes up the system and package cars.
No problem. I worked real slow when I was getting $53 an hour over time.Amazon day was brutal today...I watched tv...ate a large pizza...had a few beers
Yeah, was actually talking to a another driver about this the other dayWonder what happened to the huge fee we were charging for oversized stuff.
Just told Amazon that's ok that fee is for everyone else?
Guess Amazon is having a tough time getting their stuff delivered after Prime day.
Talked with an Amazon/Uber driver yesterday. At 8am they were offering $20/hr to peddle their packages. Offer went up to $40/hr at 10am. Then at noon the offer increased to $70/hr and he jumped in.

So....your normal pace?No problem. I worked real slow when I was getting $53 an hour over time.
Just be glad you're not in Orlando, one of our feeder guys said that all week there was a steady line of p/c guys coming through the gate after 10:30. Maybe Autozone is one of them.. So much for being back at 8pm, try more like 9:40.
r u on the west coastHad 3 trailers left at 9am. Started at 2am. We were slated for 19k (12-14k average) and then got two package cars and two more trailers thrown at us. They were all irregs and over 100s. I've never seen so much stuff stacked outside cars. Not even the past few seasonal gigs. Drivers are just now leaving and there was a trailer of bags drivers were scanning. Holy moly guacamole!
Wait til peak season.Guess Amazon is having a tough time getting their stuff delivered after Prime day.
