Getting ugly

Raccoons are often family down here in the south. Made me think of how “Uncle Ted” went when I saw that awful picture with the balloon.

Fake news any inside worker makes peanuts. Let’s make videos of the conditions we work in and see what the public thinks
I know what you are saying. Pt'ers don't make much.

but what do you think the company is going to scream to the media? driver wages. 80-120 grand plus bennies.

understand now?

What the HELL are you talking about !!!!
There are more people in the general public that quit UPS because it was too hard than are unionly employed here.
Every area in the US has seen the UPS trucks out there after 8pm.
Every business owner has seen their delivery times changed because they're not the BIG account.
Air service has been pitiful at best, not even a priority anymore.
I read constantly how bad the USPS and Lazership misdelivered packages on my local Facebook feeds. We ARE the top dog in shipping because of the workers.

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, NO ONE GIVES A :censored2: HOW MUCH WE'RE PAID
Feeder drivers are an exception because of the CDL and the OT available.
Package car drivers are beat up on a daily basis worse now than ever before.
Inside workers are part time and have limited years in the company to be making 500/a week
After one year, that "lowly" paid part timer has the EXACT benefits I do after 25 years, so zip it. Little benefits my ASS.

I could care less how much the UPS pilots or mechanics are making because they have serious gripes about how this company bargains.
If there's a strike or not, you're dependency on the pension was your first financial mistake.

jesus christ do I have to explain everything to you people????

what do you think the company is going to scream about to the press if there is a hint of a strike or an actual strike????? high wages and bennies to the drivers.

just like they did in 1997. I still have all the papers the company handed out during that strike. back then that is all they ( mostly ) did. scream about the average driver making 50k . ( back in 1997 )

SMFH

BTW my pension is just a small part of my retirement income. maybe 20-25 % at the most. my 401k and IRA's and social security for my spouse and I is a lot
more than my pension. you never like what i say. just put me on :censored2:ing ignore . FSJ

Yes that's what they will say. While the union tells the public about the PT poverty and horrible harassment. Also they will tell the public the reason they make almost 100k is because they are forced to work long hours and sacrifice time with their family's.

To many many people money isn't everything.

driver wages. 80-120 grand

After a typically long wait to drive as a PTer making peanuts, and then 4 more years to climb the pay progression ladder.

If you put in your prerequisite 8-10 years, got your box doctorate at UPS University, and have the daily workload of a typical ground driver, you deserve every penny when you finally reach that level of pay.

So your point is they will do the same thing they did last strike. The one that they lost.

The general public can all apply at UPS like we did. Nobody is holding them back from working their way up thru the part time ranks into full time driving. The work is hard.
Get over yourself and quit acting like we all drive in feeders.
good point.

feeder was my world.

The "STRIKE" will be about treating the drivers fairly and stop overworking them.
The union is asking for changes !! We want things changed but to UPS that will cost them MORE money.
Just because you pay them well doesn't make them beasts of burden that you can whip every day.

This will be made perfectly clear if we do strike. It's not about money.

Yep. Doesn’t matter how much ya make if your career as a full timer is drastically shortened by abuse. Would be better to just work the pole while ya can.

If UPS treated the inside workers and delivery drivers as well as they respect the Feeder drivers, the signup list on Saturdays would be full every week.

Digital pictures or scans of your paper pictures would be cool. Even with faces blocked out. I’d appreciate a little last UPS strike history.
