Please post my compensation package. Pension cut for all management starting in 2023. MIP % that does not reflect the profit margins UPS announces. The hours that are either Equal to or Greater than your hours. Forced to work weekends without a single minute being paid for. Then let's post management's compensation with all the perks.
And the harassment needs to be made public including restraining orders and police reports levied upon management. I know of documented cases that would diffuse public perception about "over compensated" hourly.
We have valid gripes. All we need to do is to put them out on display.
If the job is not desirable, leave. Otherwise toughen up.
I agree with you but it is a fact of life. There are places people can work, make significantly less and be happy. Life is about choices. UPS as a whole is not a desirable place right now. A strike wont fix that. This is the exact thought process by management that is destroying this company. People are leaving/not even coming to work for this company. Used to be a highly desired position, now the cats out of the bag, and people don’t want it anymore.
Probably won’t fix it, but the people who have spent half their lives or more trying to get a pension have to try something.I agree with you but it is a fact of life. They are going to have a hard time retaining new peopleI agree with you but it is a fact of life. There are places people can work, make significantly less and be happy. Life is about choices. UPS as a whole is not a desirable place right now. A strike wont fix that.
They are already having that problem. It’s like a revolving door anymore. They are going to have a hard time retaining new people
I hope it all works out for you all. Truthfully.Probably won’t fix it, but the people who have spent half their lives or more trying to get a pension have to try something.
It's just not the newbies quitting, it's guys with 5-10 years. They are already having that problem. It’s like a revolving door anymore.
Sounds like you should take your own advice. If more of you would grow some balls and stand up against the harassment like some of us do it wouldn't be bad. But no you have to keep rolling it downhill. #GrowAPairPlease post my compensation package. Pension cut for all management starting in 2023. Then of course the harassment. We all get harrassed. You, me, and every UPS employee other than Abney. Leave your feelings at the door. Its no different than anywhere else I have worked. The military is actually much more fair and reasonable than corporate America. At least you have a Union to back you up. Dont pretend you all are treated that much worse than the management. If the job is not desirable, leave. Otherwise toughen up. #Snowflakes
Hell, if I wasn’t on the down side I would consider quitting. It's just not the newbies quitting, it's guys with 5-10 years.
20 more years. We got thisHell, if I wasn’t on the down side I would consider quitting.
8 max!!!20 more years. We got this

I understand your argument, but unemployment is at a seventeen year low right now, 2.9% I believe. To what end? All the public will hear is that we make upward of $36/hr to bring QVC to hoarders and will ask "where do I sign up?".
They do work for us, but we elect them to negotiate on our behalf. If one has to tell you everything every step of the way is this really effective? So, correct me if I am wrong...the membership puts in the proposals, we pay the ‘negotiators’ to bargain on our behalf and the ‘negotiators’ are not allowed to update us and the ones who do are fired....yea ok.
Its actually illegal to say someone can't go to the bathroom. I would file a grievance on this, but if you really want to spice it up a call to OSHA will really trip their trigger. I always used to get all warm and fuzzy when the information comes to the house after an OSHA complaint.Gladly.
remind me again why workers get bitched about using the bathroom in building or on route?? What makes that okay? You’re retired so unless you’re with the teamsters I’d suggest you keep your nose out of it
Yeah dude, you're always right. To what end? All the public will hear is that we make upward of $36/hr to bring QVC to hoarders and will ask "where do I sign up?".
Two of the three that were kicked off have actual six hour full time employees in their local. Its been going on for years and they have done nothing to stop this. I don't know about you, but a six hour guarantee full-time worker is garbage. And the negotiators are proposing concessions? The ones that are against these proposed concessions are kicked off?
