It's kept on the top shelf of the laundry room (the one you need a ladder to reach) along with a few other "bad " memories. Please tell us you don’t keep that thing up on the mantle…
Agreed. Once I retired, mostly all the UPS was burned, sold or tossed out. Only thing I kept was a handcart and one pair of browns for working in the garage. That’s what’s I was thinking… who keeps this crap…??
I keep a few things just-------because. UPS was a big part of my life. I don't display any of it-its all in a box in the basement except for that cap. UPS to me is just like most any part of your life--you tend to remember the good things. I had a great route for 25 of my 30 years (the first 5 were nothing to brag about). I had great customers and got to know 95% of the people on my route-their kids and their dogs. Working out of a small center (22-24 drivers) we hourly got to know each other and hung out after work and on weekends. Most all that stuff on that cap came out of the bottom of my locker at work when I cleaned it out when I retired. That’s what’s I was thinking… who keeps this crap…??
I threw out most of the stuff I had accumulated but did keep a few things. Plus I kept finding stuff in different places for years.I keep a few things just-------because. Only thing I’ll probably keep is a couple year of service plaques…25 and 30 year ones that will go into a box.. just because they have my name on then. Let my kids toss them when I croak.Agreed. How’d you smuggle a handcart out of Alcatraz..lolAgreed. Once I retired, mostly all the UPS was burned, sold or tossed out. Only thing I kept was a handcart and one pair of browns for working in the garage.

Ran my route out of a satellite center my last few years driving. When the shop would swap out package cars, the replacement would often have a handcart in it. There was a time where I probably had 6-7 handcarts stored in the garage where I parked my package car. How’d you smuggle a handcart out of Alcatraz..lol
