TOS, I have asked you multiple times to play nicely with the other members and stop picking on moreluck. A few days ago I warned you once again to tone down your snarkiness...

Infraction given. Welcome back to the moderated posting queue. A moderator will now need to review and approve all of your posts before they display here.

Peace.

Thats awfully nice of you to simply moderate TOS's posts. Most forums I visit would simply kick and ban someone who has so many infractions against site guidlines. TOS should be thankful.

The Chevrolet Volt got a clean bill of health, last Friday, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration closing its
investigation into potential problems with the plug-in hybrid’s battery pack – but that doesn’t mean General Motors’ problems
with the Volt are over, as a Congressional hearing is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

The hearings are unlikely to result in any significant changes in policy, but the GOP will clearly see the event as a way to revive concerns a
bout “Government Motors” and the controversial GM bailout. The White House and the maker itself are expected to counter by noting how GM
is regaining market share and profitability while also hoping to highlight the message that Volt is safe.
Bottom Line - Chevy Volt's problems may not be over as GM's CEO prepares to face Congress

So glad that the president and the makers are all happy, but I'm supporting the dealerships who are REFUSING delivery on these pieces of junk!! They don't want to be stuck with them.

Do they forget the reason GM failed in the first place? Not supplying the public with the kind of vehicles they wanted and producing too many SUV's and Hummers instead. Ford Made the adjustment and that's why they survived.

Why did GM outsell Ford in vehicles in 2011 and why did GM sell the most vehicles from any other manufacturer. They must be doing something right !

GM ad campaign comes to Volt's defense
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Now that the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin station has closed its
investigation into vehicle fires in the Chevrolet Volt, General Motors is left to clean up the public relations damage.
The media counter-attack started Wednesday with newspaper and television advertisements that coincided
with GM chief executive Dan Akerson's appearance at a Capitol Hill hearing on the investigation.

[h=1]After Billions in Federal Bailouts, Now GM Lobbying States for More?[/h]How much bailing out does one company need? After receiving some $50 billion in tax dollars from us courtesy of Obama’s “cash stash,” GM is claiming success with a “big profit” with last year’s third quarter report, and in his recent State of the Union Speech, President Obama claimed that GM was “back on top as the world’s number one automaker.” But true or not, if all is coming up roses for GM, why is the company now lobbying the individual states for mini bailouts?
GM has received more than $1.5 billion from Michigan, $7.5 million in tax incentives from Kentucky, over $10 million from Texas, and over $2 million from Indiana. Ohio and Maryland have given to the GM bailout fund, too, with tax incentives and other giveaways.

Thankyou American people for saving G.M. Now we need some ad work and we're taking $3 BILLION to an ad agancy in the U.K.

I can't believe there's not one ad agency in the U.S.A. that can do the job they want done. Disgusting!

Darn it, GM will have to stop selling vehicles and radically re-design their logo.
But not to worry bhos will come up with a plan.

Let's see. If you had your way, you would have let GM go under and let the free market determine what would follow. Never mind that there would have been a huge multiplier effect that shut down hundreds of suppliers worldwide resulting in the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs. This would have likely triggered a world-wide depression.

GM just became the world's #1 auto manufacturer, surpassing Toyota. They are making record profits and re-hiring workers to staff their plants. Most suppliers have stayed open, saving many jobs. Sounds to me like BHO did a pretty good job. Sorry you can't acknowledge a job well done, but even if he cured cancer, created world peace, and made America a better place, you could never give him credit, because to do so isn't part of the GOP plan.

You'll throw the entire country under the bus just to have a GOP president who will take us straight back to 2008. Smart, really smart.
