A Baldwin owned production company contracted with a third party prop gun vendor to procure secure and provide approved and safe to use nonlethal firearms to be used on the set. it would appear that somewhere along certain safety protocols may have been breached. While it doesn't completely absolve Baldwin at this point no charges have been filed.
Film industry safety has always been a matter of concern and controversy going back decades. The onset deaths of Eric Fleming , John David Hexum, Brandon Lee, Vic Morrow and the two little kids with him and many others I'm sure proves one thing.
