Half Empty? NFL

Let's do some math:
If I was born in 1952 that means in 1972 I was 20.
There was a war/conflict going on at that time.
Can you tell me where?

Considering you were still in liquid form, I'm guessing you can't.
52,000 plus Americans died in Vietnam. Why did we get involved? Was North Vietnam a threat to us?
A war we shouldn't have been involved in.
Rich people start wars like this and the poor fight and die in them.
Sad!

Protest all you want. Just don’t push it on me. It should not infringe on my own rights, or beliefs. If you are protesting on the job, that I don’t agree with, I will take my business elsewhere.
Shouldn't you be looking at the flag with your hand over your heart.
Why are you staring at the players who choose to kneel?

It will be fine

How is it being pushed on you? How does it infringe on your rights or beliefs? Making you sad doesn’t infringe on your rights.

Really.

Is it your assertion that being black in America is the same as being white in America where law enforcement is concerned?
Nope only don't condemn the whole country for the actions of a few. And base your criticism on factual events, not lies. And while you're at it clean up your own act before casting aspersions on others. I would hate to be a Black man living in a Black neighborhood today. Very unhealthy. And I'm not talking about White cops.

If something “makes me sad” I will move on to something else.

Funny, when it’s something you believe in, you call it “making you sad”. But when it’s against what you believe in you call it “racism “

You really have no idea what you’re talking about. Good on the talking points though.

So when you're watching the NFL on TV and the anthem is playing, do you stand with your hand over your heart or go take a dump before kickoff?
No, but it used to be a symbol (exciting) that you were just in time for the game. Now I’m alright if I miss the first quarter or even the first half.

You and the crew have never heard me say I am pro war.
What you have heard me say is:
"bad wars...good warriors".

These warriors did what was asked of them and some died.

In WW II we were involved in order to stop the Japs and Germans from world domination.

You seem to suggest that we wait until the enemy is on our shores or in the airspace above our land.

We got into it to stop the spread of communism. Something your side is enamored with.

Totally agree with "bad wars...good warriors".
In this instance the warriors shouldn't have been asked.

Really guys? Read newfie’s posts. When patriotism comes up, suddenly all the questions of, “Where did you serve?” The implication being having not served means one is unpatriotic.

We’re in the nfl thread. Somehow it is construed that kneeling players are not only unpatriotic but insulting to vets.

That’s all a bunch of bull crap instigated by the president that they idolize. Kneeling players came long before Trump opened his hole on the matter and quite frankly, nobody really gave a damn.

Sounds like you didn't read Newfies post. Itty made a statement speaking for "true Patriots" well there is only one true Patriot . So where did he serve. And since you condemned entitled veterans where and how did you serve?
