Didn't get the answers you were looking for in the last thread you started about the exact same topic?

The tone of the posts is almost as if this is a drivers wife trying to gather information. Not believing what her driver is saying to her.

Hired off the street june of 2017 a week ago manager told me HR screwed up and hired too many people. Now this morning he calls me and tell me they no longer need me. Is this right? Can I fight it being that the only excuse is HR screwed up?
I'm full time, he told me in the summer he can use me again

WTF

First off, You would NOT be hired off the street in June.
You were hired to cover vacations in the summer.
"Hired off the street" doesn't mean what YOU think it means.

You are a SEASONAL EMPLOYEE, not a Full Time Union Driver
You work at their direction and discretion.
Your supervisor is well aware of your status, not sure why you weren't.
You were played plain and simple.

No full-time driver will be told "in the summer we can use you again"
That's told to a seasonal person who has not made book.

Reading between the lines:
He was hired in June to cover summer vacations
Worked peak this year and then told he is being let go.
Management made him feel he was a shoo-in and used "HR" as a scapegoat in sending him off

Trust me, I've seen some great casual drivers who were never given the chance to stay and never came back.
Feel bad for the system that's created sometimes.

If it's not an outside hire, then they can go part time and wait like the rest of us.

How can they hire seasonal non-union drivers in summer? I thought that was only allowed during peak.

You son of a bitch !!!
Send me your PO Box and your casket size !!!!

Just don't send it UPS.

Just kidding
Hand over your union card

It's impossible to read your posts without hearing Kevin James' voice in my head.

That's ok I ask, I'm ok working part time if that's what it takes. It's better than being let go, and the other guy who was hired after me they kept on as part time.
