Saw an SR_71 at the air museum in Tucson. Quite impressive. Still holds just about every speed record out there. Not bad for a 50 year old plane

Over all the time it was in service, something like 25 missiles were fired at them.

The evasive maneuver was to just peg the throttles and watch the missiles fall to the ground.
