Yes. Visited up there right around the time that movie came out. There is a small city/town right near where I grew up in Jersey that is very similar to Lowell. Kids that grow up tough or get run over.

The only bar I remembered from when I was a kid that is still here is the Last Safe and Deposit. Has crazy hours, opens at 9 pm, so we didn't get in.
