Final part of the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville Pa.

It's a tower, 93 ft tall and will have 40 wind chimes. (representing the 40 lives lost)

Wouldn't want to live anywhere near that--I hate wind chimes. What idiot thought that would be a good idea?

I saw the "facility" at the Kailua airport a few years ago. Pretty sad assortment of equipment that was present there. I'm saw the better stuff on the go, but I did see and old Jimmy going about as well.

I didn't see a single home anywhere near the actual memorial site.

It sits in the middle of approximately 2200 acres. The place is huge.

It shouldn’t be too bad. Fortunately, this county still has rules on minimum lot sizes of about 5-10 acres out here. I just hate to see the farms go. It loses the country feel.

Not out here. There is a tiny trailer park in one of the towns I deliver to. If the people ever move out of there, there is no way they could afford to live anywhere else on my route.

I noticed Monday that someone was clearing the fence line of another huge parcel. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that someone with a bunch of money bought it and they’re planning to put up new fence or another winery.
