Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
It's an incredible place imo. You can stand in the same woods where Pickett's Virginians formed up and look across the open field at the same copse of trees that was the focal point of the charge. The sense of history is amazing.

Regarding Gettysburg, I'd strongly recommend the remembrance day parade. This year it's two Saturdays before Thanksgiving. It's a great parade, although not as big as it used to be. It's like visiting on July 4th weekend without the heat, humidity and crowds. Lots of reenactors are present, with multiple period correct bands, marchers, horses etc. Great event to take the family to.

This event was originally started in 1868 to honor all of those from both sides impacted by this war.
