You need potassium to fight muscle cramps. Banana is good source for that.

Bananas weren't enough for me. I tried them my first summer and woke up all night cramping. Found a homeopathic remedy, oddly enough, called "Leg Cramps". Worked really well. Asked the Target pharmacist where I could find some, she told me to try the magnesium. It worked even better. I still cramp from time to time, nothing like I used to.
