You already work for a company who has those policies but you’re too much of a coward to quit you don’t believe your own bull:censored2:. You’re an amazing freedom Fighter of nothing. Oh wait, I forgot you’re gonna vote No that’s gonna fix it. Lol

There is a small but very vocal, group in this union and online .who want a strike almost no matter what There belief is it’s a necessity. So I’m not sure they are going to be spooked

It could be that it isn’t about the money or the contributions going into the member’s pension and health and welfare. Maybe, just maybe the overall membership hates they way they been treated by both the Union and the Company over the years and see no improvements in that area.

We would still be treated as cattle no matter how good or bad this TA turns out to be. There is absolutely no respect given or taken on the Corporate levels In Atlanta or in Washington DC.

Will this Contract change that or will make it worst?

Did you ever think that UPS expectations for drivers and the harassment that comes with it is part of the reason we make so much, and why so many wash out? Yes I would like to see a penalty for harassment, but I don't see it happening.

Even larger group that think voting no means we’ll strike. No concessions. Send it back.

That already exists in the present CBA and is enhanced in the newly proposed contract.

Biggest :censored2:ing raise anyone who works here will ever see and all the other added language and these guys want more. It’s downright scary.
I voted yes. But the biggest raise thing is only because of inflation and the price gouging UPS has done. Not because the union “fought”
If you're scared and want to accept the crumbs that UPS is offering and a pension cut vote YES.

This contract is not great
yet you make more money than all of your friends, and require no degree. Learn from the past. The future isn’t insane volume like it has been the last 3 years.

I'm just saying, all the chest beating over $30B in new money this time around, but with the previous $13B contract they managed to maintain pension contribution increases. You increased the deal by 130% and somehow couldn't do that. Go :censored2: yourself, Sean.

Didn't do much research before voting no, did you?

While you may not have had an increase from UPS during the life of the contract, they maintained their current rate.

Guess what? Your actuaries said they did not need an increase to maintain, and increase, your current and future pension. They estimate that the average increase for your pension will be around $1500/mo over the life of the contract.

What? You want more? You will get $500 more than the Central got. But you keep saying you got nothing. You voted no on the contract because you thought you would not get a pension increase.

Well, you just turned down $1500/mo. Good job.

If you’re a full-time UPS Teamster in the West, your pension will grow by approximately $1,500 a month during the proposed contract.

Huh?

You said you voted no because you did not get a pension contribution increase in this contract. Well, your actuaries said they did not need it and your pension will still increase over the next 5 years. That's what your plan told SOB and the negotiating committee, as they negotiated Article 34. You're projected to have a monthly increase of $1500/mo over the life of the contract without any pension contribution increase in the contract.

So your pension fund did not need a pension contribution increase to increase your pension payout. They are already taking in plenty of money. I think it is $14/hr.

Work 35 years in the West, you'll see $90K in pension after this contract.

Work 35 years in the Central, you'll see $68K in pension after this contract.

And you voted no.
