Immigration

Everyone has a grandfather. Her grandfather interned US citizens, the US is currently detaining illegal entrants to the country. Can you not delineate? The old rumble seat should keep her trap shut currently and just call granddad "Hitler." Just leave it at that.
Again! Why is there so much confusion between 'immigrants' and 'illegal aliens'? Blurring the line to vainly try to make a point is the best liberals can do???

Most of these families that were split apart were seeking asylum not illegal aliens. And since you lack the actual definition of illegal alien , here it is.

Definition of illegal alien/immigrant
: a foreign person who is living in a country without having official permission to live there

After careful coaching from immigration activists . If they are immigrants as you claim then they should get at the end of the line not but in front. By the way if you as a citizen sneak across the border you also commit a crime.

dissent is the highest form of patriotism.

its easy to obey government lies and be led to criminal wars of aggression, and mass domestic surveilance, and cut taxes mostly on the rich.

or we can say :censored2: you, put our money where our mouth is and do something about it.

most people have problems with the part in bold ;)
What you propose is the overthrow of the government.
If that conclusion is accurate, I hope they don't offer you a blindfold.

If you feel so strongly about their plight, I suggest you and your like-minded breed take up arms and escort them back to their home country, and assist in establishing a viable government, that protects their pursuit of happiness. Problem solved.

Unless you aren't really interested in their plight...you just want to denigrate Trump.

For your edification:

Alien

An individual who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.

Immigrant
An alien who has been granted the right by the USCIS to reside permanently in the United States and to work without restrictions in the United States. Such an individual is also known known as a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR). All immigrants are eventually issued a "green card" (USCIS Form I-551), which is the evidence of the alien’s LPR status. LPR’s who are awaiting the issuance of their green cards may bear an I-551 stamp in their foreign passports.

Nonimmigrant
An alien who has been granted the right to reside temporarily in the United States. Each nonimmigrant is admitted into the U.S. in the nonimmigrant status which corresponds to the type of visa issued.

Illegal immigration numbers are low, immigrants (illegal or not) are statistically less likely to commit crimes vs. USA born folk, and we probably need more immigrants, not less.

The current ‘crisis’ has been entirely fabricated by the Trump administration. They were basically instituing numerous suggestions from complete toolbags like Stephan Miller and seeing what stuck to the wall.

Guess what, not much stuck, shocker.

Miller’s own family tree suggests his grandparents came to the USA speaking no English and with no particular skills.

Wtf, did he get turned down to prom by a hot Latina?

My research shows:
'Illegal' crossing attempts at the US Southwest border triple in March from a year ago
  • The number of "illegal" crossing attempts at the U.S. Southwest border triple in March compared with a year ago, the government says.
  • The number of crossing attempts last month grow 37 percent from February, setting a month-to-month record going back to 2011.
  • Overall, government data show there were a total of 50,308 people last month that were apprehended or deemed as "inadmissible" at the border.
  • The largest number of apprehensions is from the Rio Grande sector in Texas, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.
