Just A UPS Guy
Bully.
I think the vast majority are "willing" but not more than a few will be happy about it.How many are really willing to go on strike for part timers?

Lol, UPS turning down revenue? Believe that when I see it.A package car driver posted somewhere in another thread that management said after the 15th no more pickup volume accepted on route.

Not to mention it'd take 4-6 days to empty our system. That's a 25th or 26th move, not a 15th.Lol, UPS turning down revenue? Believe that when I see it.
I don’t notice them on the practice picket lines either, oh wait that’s because they’re working. Which is probably what they will be doing during the strike, continuing to work their second and third jobs. Most part timers don’t have the luxury of a savings account and they won’t be getting enough from the strike fund to survive. They need to get properly compensated for their work.I didn’t notice many part-timers on the picket line in 1997
Oh, he has to pay for her healthcareFree money from not paying healthcare?Yep, this guy is definitely oblivious to his wife’s affair
Once again, you got paid when a lot of people didn't.....
Don't waste your time. Most analysts say, if we do go on strike, we will probably lose about 30% of our volume which is about 4 million packages a day. Truly, that is concerning granted I don’t argue or dispute The fact that the company made billions of dollars during the pandemic and because of that, we should be able to get some of those profits as well, considering it was done on our backs, not to mention, we gave up a lot of time with our families, and, of course, put our own health at risk, but the problem is going to be, as we are, probably not gonna see those profits anywhere near that due to the fact those profits were all made off of the pandemic, and now that the volume has slowed all delivery companies are struggling, laying people off, and of course, searching for volume. I don’t know what the real answer is other than the fact that maybe they could give us a huge signing bonus with a reasonable cost of living adjustment but eventually we have to top off I mean think about it in five more years from now are we gonna be looking for 60 or $65 an hour we must be reasonable or in the end this company will end up like SEARS & ROBUCK of shipping one last nugget for thought if in the event, the Teamsters are able to successfully unionized Amazon, we will no longer be the big guy on the block and in five years from now will we be yellow freight? I don’t know about you, but I sure enjoy my benefits, I have and very good standard of living, and would hate to lose it all but your truly has to be a points where we top off for 36 years I’ve worked for this job, and every year I received a raise
Don't waste your time.
Some on here, only see it their way or the highway.
They would rather strangle the goose, then realize what a great job they have.
With reasonable increases in pay, part time more, an agreement could be reached.
Yet, Mr. O'brien wants to "punish" the company and bring it to its "knees".
NOW, watch me get eviscerated for my reply to you.
You’re right, he’s wasting his time, one idiot like you is enough.Don't waste your time.

You have? We made record profits. No different than contractors passing on low profit contracts. Dump the low profit accounts.I've seen it for 20 plus years

Don't blame them. The union failed to get that extra covid pay when the iron was hot. Could have made the deal when everything was in kung flu panic mode but they were asleep at the helm....And I didn’t even give a damn about the stupid virus. The company was the one that virtue signaled and acted like it was a big deal until it came time to reward there “heroes”.

Different leadership. And regardless of the current contract being negotiated should be rewarding us for the past five years. Virus or no virus, pandemic or fake pandemic doesn’t matter what you believe, they made a boatload of money.Don't blame them. The union failed to get that extra covid pay when the iron was hot. Could have made the deal when everything was in kung flu panic mode but they were asleep at the helm.
Awww, where's the sympathy for the company? It never dawned on corporate (or @Dragon ) to help their workforce with easily accessible and deserved extra COVID pay. When their entire mindset for several decades has been focused on penny pinching, squeezing timecards, creating a hostile work environment, and grinding out every employee for the most petty reasons... It simply never occurred to them, they were deaf to the governments offer... These type of blindspots often illustrate the hidden character of whom you are dealing with...Don't blame them. The union failed to get that extra covid pay when the iron was hot. Could have made the deal when everything was in kung flu panic mode but they were asleep at the helm.
The contract even says the one time you can renegotiate is during a national emergency. It was the perfect chanceDon't blame them. The union failed to get that extra covid pay when the iron was hot. Could have made the deal when everything was in kung flu panic mode but they were asleep at the helm.
Part timers $15-17 start for 30 days, then $20 with progression annually to a top scale of around $30.Define: “reasonable increases in pay”..?
Please …
Then the eviscerating will begin…!
