In the end, who wins??? And at what cost?

That’s so true. So many people complain of the situation they choose to be in and expect accommodations every turn.

they get
above top industry pay
AC soon to come (but won’t help)
Free health care for them and their family
A pension
PTO
401k match

And still have the audacity to ask for a bonus.
We got that because we fight for it. And every fight along the way there were people like you complaining

Could it also be that those were private ups vs public ups? Genuinely asking
Public UPS definitely changed our workload, and that plays a big part but that was a few years later.

As far as mgmt is concerned, along with the working relationship.....that went south after the strike...never returned to what was "normal" UPS...aka, customer first always, and "look out for your drivers"
. Now it's where the largest profit margin is with "public" UPS. If that means tossing the smaller company, or smaller profit margin to the curb, that's what is at play now.

UPS needs to realize, that higher PT wages is a win for UPS, maybe they don't see it that way anymore.

Get a good group of PT'ers....with a nice fat hourly wage in the distance, maybe they will think twice about tossing boxes, walking over boxes, etc. There's too much competition elsewhere to not work as hard, A/C in the bldgs, free meals, and bennies. Wonder why UPS has a high turnover rate with PT employees.

Make it worth their while to stay. They can't AI the entire part-time workforce.

I don't have an attitude toward you, just don't play the "woe is me, they made me work" card.

I would like the same 60% increase at the shareholders got . Let's start out with that... (buy some stock!) no we are not giving to you. Use some of that free money you have from not having to pay for healthcare..work overtime!!

And I want to MIP bonus also. Put in a letter and lets see if you can get into management..then you can have MIP.

Its Much easier to become a manager than a driver. I was offered a management less than a year of being at UPS, took nearly 8 years to become RPCD.

I really hope asshats like you are one of the 1800 management positions let go after this contract is ratified. Would be even better if you have to deliver for a few weeks and then let go.

DID you work for free?? Nope, got paid every cent of your pay to include ALL the overtime you worked. That is your bonus.

Wow, your center manager asked you to work instead of taking a vacation. Were you feelings hurt? It's convenient to want get a pay out of your vacation when YOU want to do it, but its a world crisis when we ask. Don't be two-faced..sucker.
Get those browns pressed and shine up them shoes. I think you’re going to be needed in the field.
