No....you think yours is the only building working over capacity?? If every employee maintained egress in their own work area...there wouldn't be an issue. But most think why bother when it's only sporadically enforced as a flavor of the month.
Of course not. I should have elaborated. When the buildings run over capacity they still expect the same down time, and to do so they cut corners. I'm sure you're aware of this. For us the de facto policy is to leave as little egress as is not 'dangerous' by the strictest legal definition and wait for someone else to clear it, but starting about the same time the
preach de jure was the importance of maintaining adequate egress. You certainly have a point, but we are yelled at if we maintain any more than a six-inch passage at any given time. Hopefully it won't be this way in a month or so. It makes me nervous.
