Only February and multiple people already at 4 9.5 grievances for the year, quadruple time coming.
U don't think the company is going to stall hearing those grievances for months? You could be violated 20 times by the time your 4th payment is issued and you can request the elevated meeting for quad pay. And then the quad pay meeting can be 45 days from that.

We had 2 drivers laid off this past week and will have 5 laid off this coming week. The sups are being told some crazy number like 143 spc and are trying to do that even though we have quite a few more rural routes. Yesterday, they pushed the air car departure time back to 20:00 to try to get all that air volume back in time. I clocked out at 20:06 and there were still multiple people out. For reference, we have maybe 55 to 60 full time drivers now and they cut it down to 34 routes.
We sound similar.
30 drivers, Tuesday we had 15 routes

Volume has fell off here, routes are being cut. Building has over 300 ft drivers

Where does the company stall hearing grievances?

22.3's practically have to beg for their 8 and part timers are barely working. If I constantly wanted to "look for work" I may as well have became a landscaper.

You can thank that dumb :censored2: CEO who has no clue what she is doing. Better, not bigger. Right.

She is driving this company into the ground and the board of directors is not doing a thing about it. Her last effort reducing Amazon volume tanked the stock another 10%.

She came from the retail industry and has no idea how to run a service company.

Oh.

And if she actually believed in what she is preaching, she wouldn't be closing building and reducing the workforce tanking service to the customers.

She is only worried about stock price and has absolutely no idea how to run a service company.

She is driving the company into the ground trying to increase the stock price for the investors, but is doing the exact opposite.

It is time for the board to cut their losses and get rid of this overpaid, under qualified excuse for a CEO.

Yeah, if she thinks cutting more contracts / volume every time we get a raise is going to make this company more profitable she's got another thing coming. She's said she wants less volume but more profitable packages. It would make sense if she had new customers willing to pay more in place but she doesn't.

She was put in to tank it. That is why she is here.

Right now our center manager has been directed to do a bunch of layoffs while also increasing paid days, many over 9.5 and 10. So the plan from the top is they'd rather lay off while paying tons of 9.5 grievances. Must be the first company ever to function this way.

The way it's going I think we're going to get to the point of driver buyout options, sooner than later. That'll be their cheapest option. The company is still sitting on the influx of new drivers they put on during the Covid volume increase. No doubt they'd love to get rid of the guys with 8 weeks of vacation.

The company pays our retirement to the union… I don’t see the company or the union especially buying anybody out… older drivers ( myself included) have too many part time years and not enough full time years to retire anytime soon
