Is UPS crying Poor (underfunded non-union retirement) for more major takeaways?

Starting wage is a waste of time.
Good man - can think for himself and makes decisions and takes care of his/her areas of responsibility.
Good Union man - Someone else does the thinking for them but they're loyal albeit dumb as bricks.
Union men are calculated. Way more intelligent than a manager.

30:1? They can't fill open slots at 6:1, how in the hell are they going to fill them at 30:1?
That's an easy one.
They'll get their chance a long time later than expected.
For example-
6-1=s approximately 16.7% of opportunities
30-1=s approximately 3.334% of opportunities if I cyphered it real good.

With any luck, after Dave retires, they will bring him back as a contractor in a pseudo-manager role.

He can strut his stuff and live his dream!

I think UPS is hiring more drivers off the street than through P/T Union bidders.
I guess you weren't aware of that and missed the point ... but you appear a Union Man so expected.
