Is ups worth working for anymore?

Seeing all of these complaints about the new contract everyone's pessimistic about the union and ups. I work at walmart and they're not that bad really but I'm just wondering if pay went up for package handlers yet? Benefits still good? Is their ANYTHING good happening?? Appreciate it guys

I just moved two months ago but in my old town ups paid 11.50, the one that's 40 miles from me was 10.35 (1 month ago anyway) and the one 5 minutes away is now hiring so can't wait to see what they offer lol. Gotta be more than $11 that's for sure

I won't steer my grandchildren toward UPS and that should tell you something.

We steer them towards reading and computers and college. Not sure where good paying opportunities are in the future but don't see it at UPS. The union is weakening more and more and working conditions are heading towards Amazon warehouse standards . It's only going to get worse because of Teamster member apathy . We did it to ourselves.

No, kids.........find something else. Work SMARTER , not harder.
