While I was out I grew a great goatee. When I met with my center manager to confirm my return to work he reminded me several times I would need to shave. I was sad to see it go but I will like seeing a paycheck better.

Yeah, pretty much: it is. You get 33/hr because of the Union, not because of the highly rare and valuable skills you possess (i.e., not rare or much valuable)

A trained monkey could do what UPS drivers do. Much less most of the population. Thing is, most of the population doesn't *want* to do it, because it's physical. The only reason you get 33 dollars an hour is because of the union. Don't kid yourself into thinking you're invaluable. They could replace any amount of drivers in a few weeks.

If it weren't for the union fighting for your pay, you'd be making 18, 21, max. Just look at FedEx.

go to your dr. and get a dr. 's note. tell them that you can't shave everyday because you get a severe rash or razor bumps if you do. we have a bunch of drivers in our bld running around with facial hair. Not sure about their pubes!
