I have a liability lawyer. The workers comp attorneys I have contacted so far, say that because I have a lawyer they cannot take the case. I am thinking they want the entire case and not just the workers comp part. I dunno, but I am going to contact more. As for lawyers turning down money I called several and as soon as I said I have a workers comp case they referred me to another lawyer, even though they advised workers comp cases on their website.

They may be assuming that you've signed on with the liability lawyer idk. My lawyer handles all cases pertaining to injuries whether it be from work or personal. Mine actually used to be on the side of workers comp fighting the individual and now he fights for the individual. That's why I chose him because he knows both sides and how crooked the workers comp side of the law is. He fought with the LM/UPS attorney and opposing counsel and got me the most out of my case.

I just found one, they gave me some great info. They told me I can wait to hire them if I would like until I get the MMI which they will review for free. They also said to give them a call if I have any questions in the mean time. They said they have handled lots of UPS and LM cases

LM is gonna give you a very low impairment rating if any. You will need this lawyer to fight that and get a much higher rating...I'd hire them asap

Thanks. One good thing about this lawyer is she knows who my doctor is and she said he is an advocate for us.
