Obama doesn't live up to any expectation.......he's not truthful, trustworthy (he'd sell Mooch for good ratings. He's a dead-brained ex-druggie. He couldn't have taught constitutional law because he doesn't follow the constitition. Anyone seen Bo lately??

Ya ISLAND, if the distortion machine hadnt confused you in the first place, you would understand what that means. Just today, FOX news Sunday actually talked about what the CBO actually said about jobs, and distanced themselves from the early claims they made that 2.3 million people would be layed off and lose their jobs.

The CBO forecasted ( that means guessing island) that in ten years time, SOME people, like housewives, would work less because they would NOT need to work longer hours just to have insurance, because they could now afford insurance through exchanges and wouldnt have to work a full time position just to be able to afford it.

Maybe you just park your brain and allow the fox news channel sound to come out of it?

ISland,

working less hours under BUSH? TRY losing 11 million jobs in 8 years. In this graph, you can actually see where the decline in the american workforce began, do you think its a coincedence that under BUSH, 65 thousand factories closed and moved overseas or out of the USA? Did you believe this wouldnt have an effect on the american labor force actually working?

Did you believe that 8 years of losing all our industries for larger profits under BUSH would not have a lasting effect on the country placing more people onto the government doles?

What did you expect to happen AFTER BUSH? Did you believe all the people he UNEMPLOYED would miraculously find a new job in a country that makes NOTHING anymore?

The line goes straight down UNDER BUSH's watch, heading into the next administration. With a freefall this great ( near depression levels) how did you believe the employment situation in this country would somehow be fantastic in the first few years of the new administration?

You can thank moreluck for this chart, it tells the whole story.

tos,

You are very confused this morning. Stop watching Fox news.

I believe it is Men in Brown you are responding to--not to well I might add.

Touchy , touchy , touchy ---you are just about in the area of "The Last of the Mohegans" --in your support of the disaster -known as Obamacare --wait MSNBC --CLAIMS if you call it that --although He said he liked that name ---It is Racist !!??

The affordable care act that working people cannot afford.

Tell me tos --will Carney announce tomorrow that the very popular Employer Mandate ---will be POSTPONED--for three years --till after the Presidential election ??? Or will it be announced on FOX ??

I can indulge my passion for 17th century Japanese basket weaving now! Woo hoo!

Via NY Post:

Among its many stamps, the Postal Service has a series called “Made in America, Building a Nation.” The strip of “forever” stamps is a collection of iconic photographs of 20th-century industry featuring men and women toiling on railroads, skyscrapers and factory floors.

A celebration of work and workers, the series quotes Helen Keller saying, “The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.”

My, oh, my, how times have changed. America now has a government that views work as a trap and celebrates those who escape it.

Again, the right wing attempts to prevent the american worker from gaining higher wages and benefits. This time in Tenn, where the workers of a growing volkswagen plant seek to unionize, the republicans seek to threaten the workers and the company.

http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/dail...ing-issue-in-midterm-elections-164249753.html

How unfortunate, that in a time where americans need jobs, and a company is looking for expansion, the republicans, led by the KOCH brothers "right to work" group threaten to prevent volkswagen from expanding should the workers ratify the union into the company.

As a result, Volkswagen is saying it will have to move its operations to mexico if the republicans block their planned expansions.

But, the GOP/Republicans will still say they are on the american workers side. YA RIGHT!
