My feeder CPU accounts have been very light. Same with other CPU routes as I’m talking to other feeder drivers.

I think a lot of people are shopping in store this year and I blame the news for it. Headlines like “trucker shortages”, “buy gifts early” and “port backlog” don’t exactly instill confidence that Christmas gifts ordered online will make it on time.

Also The company is being more selective on what they are taking from customers…what kinds of pkgs and levels of service.!there have been many stories about this exact thing.

I think there may be a silent majority, on browncafe, that actually like the fact that the PVD's allow them to get home earlier during the short holiday season.

And then there is the vocal minority.
Be sure to call your seasonal helper a scab every day. They are, no doubt, robbing you of your precious rupees.

There's also a full month between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year which helps to spread out the volume.

PVDs are making a huge difference. The 2 PVDs in my area are easily pulling off nearly 200 stops.

That was daily for me all year long, for years.
Peak was my slow season.
Only time help was sent.
Save the OT, invest it, payoff all debt then wake up one day and say I am done.
Never say it is the worst, next peak could prove you wrong.
