Again, you and I may think so but millions of people have to make choices like that every day. It may well have been a choice him and his wife made, and I’m not gonna pretend I understand anything about how he is as a father or a husband, nor should you.
I was fortunate in that both of my kids were born while I was on active duty and I had a sympathetic supervisor who told me to take all the time that I need. My (ex) wife sent me back within 2 weeks as her parents had come down to help out.
That’s great and it worked for you then but ultimately she’s your ex-wife so apparently every relationship is different.
My wife had an amazing support system and encouraged me to go.

They filed a motion of contempt that I didn't get until today at around 3pm. Took the site down within 30 minutes of finding out but that wasn't quick enough apparently.
