I agree good luck to all the drivers.
But the BA calls a wildcat and the IBT has to bail out the Local. Maybe they should ask TDU for help. I really feel bad for the drivers

All these drivers will be back. Ups violates the contract daily with no real reprecusons. The misuse of the dishonesty clause needs to stop.

Yep. I wonder why TDU isn't all over this?? I would think with how much they care about the teamsters and the members they would have some info? Where is it? I'm thinking that since this is a TDU local they are embarrassed and don't know what to do. This is the direction that that we want for our leadership. This is peoples lives. Where are they?
Are they waiting to mak their move? Ken P has something up his sleeve right? It just seems kinda weird that TDU hasn't a thing to say. I hope the best for the the teamster brothers and sisters in local 804 but this is TDU at work people.

I hope nothing but the best for you and your coworkers but if this isn't a sign of the TDU leadership I don't know what is. Cooler heads always prevail. This ba looks like a big tool on utube. Wtf was he thinking. He screwed these guys livelyhoods. What if these brothers do lose their job. It's a black eye for our whole great union. Thanks TDU.

This is a direct result of the way local 804 leadership handles their business. They obviously can't handle the job of running a local.
Every excuse I ever heard made perfect sense to the person who made it.
Because they are the biggest group of phonies on the plant. For democracy my azzzz! They are spoon fed cash from these TDU locals. They preach a good game at first, then it's "just cut us the monthly check". They just figured out a way to alter the old fashion corruption to make it more modern.

Yesterday a number of local804 members were put on a 72hrs discharge for violating article 18.
The company didn't put everyone who walked out on a 72 at the same time. The company is planning to do this by stages.
At the end of the day 200+ members jobs will be loss as a direct result of local804 executive board misjudgment! That number of members represent about 8% of the total amount of full time jobs local804 have.
All of this is happening while local804 executive board is in Florida. Stay tuned for more updates.

You didn't answer the question, at the end of the day were you one of them members put on notice of discharge ? And please stop using Ron Carey's name he never would have let members go home or stopped the job at the members expense.
