E-commerce spend is projected to triple by 2030. UPS stands to capture a decent portion of that spend. Volume will eventually reboundHopefully it's just temporary
This is true! Murphy’s is pretty good as well.Tap is better, but the nitro can is better than nothing.
Same in my building, they tell people they have a full time job and never work themThat's sad. How many drivers has your center added since 2020?
fyi there is exactly zero care of a centers grievances when it comes to driver staffingMy center is sinking, not hiring, everybody is filing 9.5 and nothing is changing. Saturday forced list is off the charts. Whatever!
shame about the next two years thoughE-commerce spend is projected to triple by 2030. UPS stands to capture a decent portion of that spend. Volume will eventually rebound
im not excited about the 9.5 changes but if people can actually get 4x penalty paid out this may change.fyi there is exactly zero care of a centers grievances when it comes to driver staffing
we plan a district to a plan day, which is driven by cost efficiency calculations; the entire district is expected to hit that plan, regardless of how they divvy up the pain amongst its buildings and sorts
we could do IE measurements on every building in the country that show they need to run slower, and it would be ignored 100% because Finance actually runs this company, no one else

PT air drivers are going to be busy.Right, which is why they didn’t hire more drivers in these bigger buildings and just used the work force M-Saturday. It’s going to be difficult to pull that off under this contract, the company is going to have to hire more drivers or routes will be sitting/missed packages or put more stops per car.
