It's funny, the USA really didn't have any kind of immigration policy whatsoever, until we didn't want the Chinese, and then we got the 'Chinese exclusion act'.

(We wanted their labor, until we didn't...sound familiar?)

It's the Chinese, it's the Irish, it's the Italians, it's the Jews (how many did we refuse to take when Hitler was on his super-pogrom?

We've been having these immigration debates since day one.
At least you established it wasn't just against black or brown people.

The vast majority work and don't receive assistance. The problem with your right wing talking points is you don't address the actual problem. Lack of education and training in the US.you expect other countries to do what Republicans don't want to do. Invest in education and training.
If people want to come here they should demonstrate they have needed skills. And prove that they aren't getting assistance because the country makes assistance readily available to immigrants, legal or not, working or not.

If the US wants only skilled workers to come here then they need to invest US $ in education and training.

Different time, no safety net back then, had to work. People coming in today are given generous assistance while most of them don't bring skills that can support them.
The conservative stance would be against the entitlements, not the immigrants. But I understand the poor like you don't want immigrants threatening your government cheese.

To train people coming here without skills? Seriously? You want to bring unskilled labor into the country and use our tax dollars to train them to compete against our citizens? Citizens who themselves are on the hook to pay back loans for training.

Educate and train our own citizens for free as other nations do. Or do you think the world has to subsidize our workforce?

Why should we invest dollars into people of differing nationality? We have plenty people here to invest in. That’s my biggest complaint of this immigrants get education blah blah blah. Excuse me but we have very cabable Americans the people who descended from those who built this country and are fully assimilated to our society already. Why don’t we invest in them first if we are throwing dollars around.

We already have a legal immigration system that allows a lot of people in who get assistance. Then we have a huge amount of illegals who undercut wages working for less. It must be bewildering to be a liberal, ranting against the evil corporations who don't pay you enough while wanting sanctuaries for illegals who'll work for less for employers who don't want to pay you enough. SMH

I’m not on a keto diet it’s my bae’s thing. I’m not against a home cook plate of meat and veggies or some good casserole though. I’m actually pretty thankful.

K, the keto thing has been disproved, let your bae down gently.

Here's the one and only method:

Proper nutrition and exercise, hydration, and proper sleep.

End of story.

Free? No. But if scholarships and grants are being given why favor immigrants over Americans? Why pay for them to compete against people already in this country struggling and striving? How is it fair I would need to take out a student loan due to my parents income when if I was a Haitian i could walk in and have it all handed to me to try risk free so liberals get those good fefes in their heart.

So we're in agreement the entitlements system is the problem not the immigrants. Good talk.
