I cant understand why some the old timers get so offended over someone younger saying, UPS should get rid of standards. They said the old outdated manual transmission trucks, not your old and out dated butt. Its like when the old man says there isn't anything wrong with a billion dollar company running trucks with no power steering.

This new generation is driving me crazy ,,, everything has to be suited to there needs!!!!
They want a pat on the back everyday , they want beards , they only want to drive automatics , they want the boss to talk nice to them , want a gosh darn trophy for everything , we all had to drive sticks, take sh-t from the boss every day and we all had to shave while we all wore long hot pants in unventilated beat up pkgcars and took COD cash and knew how to make changes !!
We expected nothing in return than a paycheck from Brown ,, the older guys in our center would bitch slap the complainers !!!!

Come on bro. Those tough old timers you're talking about are the old school union guys who drank on the clock. The guys who had the best and easiest years at UPS. Im going to guess and say you're old enough to have enjoyed those glory days. But also old enough to be part of the change. No more drinking on the clock, no more just driving around. UPS gets harder by the day. UPS wasn't hard decades ago and decided to just let all the new guys have a free ride.

Cove and I have about the same amount of time with the company and can vouch for everything that he said.
