You are incorrect in your statements about Tome's time at HD. HD stock went from $11.08 to $186.09 during her time at HD. From 2001 (when she became CFO) to 2019 (retired) it went from $117.67 to $186.09. During her time at the company, HD grew from 400 stores to 2,200 with revenue of nearly $100 billion. Its share price over her tenure increased more than 450%. Can't find anything online that discusses bad employee morale or even a bad article about her time at HD. "Word on the street" is as valuable as "anonymous sources".

She obviously hasn't had that impact on UPS stock price. All the big gains of UPS stock in the past were all due to a COVID bump.

UPS purchased Coyote Logisitics in 2015, well before COVID. It is true, however, that it was sold under Carol's rule for less then UPS paid for it. It was not a "multi-billion dollar loss" based on what the reported purchase/sold price was. Also, if Coyote wasn't making enough money for UPS, why shouldn't they have sold them? What value were they bringing to UPS?
Of course, finding Waldo or the rarest pokmon is easier than finding someone to help you at hd!
Whenever I go in, it is xustomers trying to help each other, and pity the one employee being swarmed by customers looking for help!
Almost like a bunch of ants attacking a picnic basket!

A recent Home Depot press release that addresses your concern about finding help at HD.

HOUSTON, TX — The Home Depot has just announced a brand new "Alarm of Shame," which will be standard in all Home Depot locations by next week. The Alarm of Shame is meant to improve customer satisfaction and self-confidence by loudly blaring every time any so-called "man" asks an employee for help.

"SHAME!! SHAME!!" blares the siren the moment a male degrades himself in the most humiliating way possible. Spotlights then reveal the location of the man-child, and other shoppers are encouraged to either laugh or join in yelling "SHAME!!"

Look what she did to Home Depot. Used to be a thriving place to shop, now it's automated and department help is near non-existant. She doesn't seem to care about the company constantly being successful and profitable like UPS has always been, but more of a "big money right now" mentality. Why do we need automation? Been doing just fine without it.

I use to shop at Home Depot a lot but now it is only if I have to. Carol will make UPS the same way. UPS stock is a joke now. Put a woman in a man’s job and this Is what you get.

Someone who has never done the job...IMHO that was the start of the downfall of UPS when they started putting people in high end positions who never did the job.

The downfall of UPS started when I retired. I was the last of the super drivers.
