Obviously, from a legal standpoint.

But from a common sense and morally complicit view....
Employees have responsibilities as conditions of employment yes, some of the responsibilities are following safety guidelines, training, and policy. It is the employers responsibly to see that this happens.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Therefore, it’s everyone’s responsibility. Period.

Therefore, it’s the employers responsibility.

I don’t know why you insist on abdicating UPS management from their OSHA responsibility.
How dense can you be? I’m not abdicating anything. If employees walk around ignoring safety hazards is that a safe work environment? Is OSHA in the bldg? Do you take any personal responsibility at all? You’re wrong.

I don't think he is debating that.

It would be like not reporting a safety issue and having the attitude that "it shouldn't even exist" because

all the liability falls on the employers shoulder. Then someone gets injured as a result, and you abdicate any

sort of responsibility. Morally there is culpability. Common sense would dictate that.

I pose the same question to you, no offense intended.
I’m not abdicating anything.
You seem to be.
If employees walk around ignoring safety hazards is that a safe work environment?
No. It is an unsafe work environment that the employer is responsible to correct.
Is OSHA in the bldg?
No.
Do you take any personal responsibility at all?
Yes.
You’re wrong.
IMO I am not.
