It was a response to the nasty, hateful, bitter tone other threads morph into on BC.
The implication of mental illness is an attack and I am offended that you, Klein, ventured in the direction by posting a derogatory comment in this thread.
Personally, I miss Tie and I enjoy reading the words of Baba.
And in the words of BrownBaggin..."nothing to see here, move on".

thats a really insensitive thing to say. My Niece just spent a week in a mental institute. Such a pretty young girl. Her parents are frantically trying to get her the help while obviously being embarrassed over the mental implications that come up with insensitive comments like yours.

I understand the deep emotion underlying your response and I felt it myself when I responded.
The comment is insensitive and in very poor taste. It was directed at two valued members of our UPS and BC family.
Your niece is lucky to have a family member, like you, to stand up to clueless bullys that imply mental illness is a joke.
We need more people, like you, to stand up and take the topic off the late night comedy circuit.
Please don't allow the comment to color your view of Brown Cafe...
