I think it's strange that he is missing the celebration especially since he has compared himself to Lincoln. Twice he was sworn in with the Lincoln bible. He announced his candidacy in Springfield. He used Lincoln's route to his inauguration. Just seems like he would be there.
Mitt Rmoney, miracle worker. That's right. Remember when he said he'd get unemployment down to 6% by 2016 if we'd just let him do everything he wanted?

Have any hard data to back that up? Or is this just another faux story from faux news?..."Took Obama half that time....."(paninni)
For part time jobs!!
Again, do you have ANY hard data to back up your claims? Of course not. Just more make believe stories from the right wing nuts to make Obama look like the boogie man.The participation rate is the lowest since 1978 (something like 62%).......But, the liberals focus on one number instead of looking at the whole picture.

I wonder if he would even believe the World Socialist Web Site? Or is it too conservative for him?

From your own link...
“While the unemployment rate for the short-term unemployed—people out of work for six months or less—has returned to pre-recession levels, the levels of unemployment for workers who remain jobless for more than six months is among the most persistent, negative effects of the Great Recession," noted a recent Rutgers University survey.""
