I get the wordplay, but the truth is I'm a fan of Philip Seymour Hoffman ever since Along Came Polly and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
He continues to disappoint me now. Capote was just OK.

Rented & watched "Lay the Favorite". It was pretty good.......with Bruce Willis, Vince Vaughn, Catherine Zeta Jones and Rebecca Hall. Lots to learn about sports book betting. Still confusing but it's something you could pick up if you hung around it enough.

We watched that last night and I enjoyed it. I like movies with lots of action in them. Plenty of shooting and explosions. Over9five, you will enjoy it!

Just watched Le MANS for the first time. As a big racing fan,I can't believe I hadn't gotten around to this. Incredible camera work. Looks like it could have been shot last year. Epic racing movie! Steve McQueen was THE MAN! Love Bullitt too.

Rented& watched "Sessions" last night. Helen Hunt was nominated for supporting role in this one. This was a good movie. It contains full frontal nudity on Helen's part.....but necessary to the story line.
I guess it was based on a true story.........good movie and Wm. Macy makes a good priest!! (funny)

"Sessions" has not even made it to the theaters yet----how were you able to rent it so soon?
It's been in and out of theaters already.

Not here---I have seen the previews and was waiting for it to come out.
You either missed it or it never played up your way. It was in theaters October of last year, released on DVD in February of this year.

Thank you TCM for running 'Where The Boys Are' today. Spring break themed.
The movie was from 1960 (simpler times). It starred Dolores Hart who went on to become a nun and is known as Mother Dolores Hart today. Also in it is Yvette Mimeux.......gorgeous!
Jim Hutton & Paula Prentiss who were both "tall" contract players and played a couple in many movies.
Of course, the theme song sung by Connie Francis whose life was turned upside down by a rape and she was never the same.
Remember Frank Gorshin too?
