Just watched The Internship with Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson.....like wedding crashers at Google.

"Two salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital age find their way into a coveted internship at Google, where they must compete with a group of young, tech-savvy geniuses for a shot at employment."

I enjoyed this movie.....a little longer than it needed to be. If what they were showing was really what the Google building is like....it's strange!

Last night we watched "Grown Ups 2".

Like all Adam Sandler movies it was stupid & Juvenile........but it was free.

"After moving his family back to his hometown to be with his friends and their kids, Lenny finds out that between old bullies, new bullies, schizo bus drivers, drunk cops on skis, and 400 costumed party crashers sometimes crazy follows you."

Just watched "2 Guns" with Denzel and Markie Mark. I liked it. Edward James Olmos was a bad dude. I didn't know what was going on for awhile, but neither did the main characters. Bill Pullman, the loveable guy from Big Love, was the baddest guy in the film. Hard to put that voice with a bad guy.

"A DEA agent and a naval intelligence officer find themselves on the run after a botched attempt to infiltrate a drug cartel. While fleeing, they learn the secret of their shaky alliance: Neither knew that the other was an undercover agent."
Good movie!!

Just watched "Shiver". It was very predictable. Typical serial killer flick.......it took place in Portland. The moral of this story was to get your own gun because the police are inept there.

"Bottom Line: Some interesting story points are drowned by a tidal wave sewage, in the guise of plot, dialogue, acting, etc… "

I have watched these on Xmas break so far:

Parkland. A story of the incidents that happened in the three days immediately following the Kennedy assignation. ****

The Way,Way,Back. A quirky coming of age story. **

The Iceman. A story of one of the most notorious hit men who split his time as a beloved family man. Micheal Shannon is good as always. **** 1/2

I forget sometimes how good the older movies are.

I re-watched "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" this afternoon. I thought , at the time, that Rebecca DeMornay was one of the sexiest stars. No, she wasn't "visiting Joel" in this movie. She was a real whacko! Good movie !

A little known fact is that her dad was Wally George.....he had a crazy program on TV.

Gee, I know this is a movie review thread and I may have needed to start a new thread for "little known facts", but I'll risk it !!

Saw it yesterday. It is nearly 3 hours long. It does give a realistic behind the scenes look at the world of Wall Street but it was about an hour too long and had way, way too much profanity.

Do yourself a favor and go see "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" or "American Hustle".

Same advice after I name a few of my favorites:
Goodfellas
Casino
Godfather I, II, II
Scarface
Pulp fiction
Wall street
Donnie Brasco
The Boost
Hero
RunAway Train (Jon Voight)

We watched R.I.P.D. I liked this movie. The gross characters in it reminded me of the creatures in Men In Black.

"A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him."

Kevin Bacon, Ryan Reynolds & Jeff Bridges star in it.

Watched Violet and Daisy......weird movie....

"Two teenage assassins accept what they think will be a quick-and-easy job, until an unexpected target throws them off their plan."

With James Gandolfini, DannyTrejo, Saoirse Ronan, and Alexis Bledel. It was just weird......

Except for a few laugh-out-loud moments, I just wasted 98 mins. of my life watching "HeLL Baby". It won't let me type H-E- double toothpicks.

"An expectant couple who moves into the most haunted house in New Orleans call upon the services of the Vatican's elite exorcism team to save them from a demonic baby."

It was really bad.....I think it was scored 4.8 out of 10. I never heard of any of the names in the cast. The one good thing about it was that it was free.
