Oh Yeah
Its funny how these new Smart tvs have the internet acess. That's old news to me. Ive had a media center pc hooked to my ht system for like 3 years. I was ahead of that idea a long time ago. 2 of my buddies saw my media pc setup and loved the idea. So I built both of them a media pc to put in their rack.

I've had my PC integrated into my HT setup for close to 10 years, all the way back to when I had my first 37 inch flat screen.

Just built this monster a couple months ago. Movie burning monster and some light gaming.

Oh Yeah
Was going to build another one to fit into my custom made rack but I was like im a go big or go home lol. I just threw a an amd 6 core it and a solid state drive for my operating system and put a terabyte in it for my bluray rips. I put a separate fan controller in it and it has 10 fans in it. It came with 7 in it but I put an extra 3 in it and hooked em all to the separate fan controller.

Oh Yeah
Ibuypower is good stuff. It was a little challenge. Hardest part was putting in the fan controller cause I had to put in some fan splitter wires to run to the fan controller. I spent about 850 or so on it after everything. Not bad I don't think.

I built some amd systems a while back but it's been all intel lately. SSD is the way to go at least for your OS, they're getting cheap enough though that I picked up another one just to load games.

No doubt, and that's really why I paid extra to have someone else to put it together last time. Getting lazy in my old age :)

Oh Yeah
Yeah intel is good stuff but expensive. Kills amd in single core execution no doubt. I was just trying to get the most bang for my buck. I wanted to stay in the 800 buck range. SSD are getting cheaper. I got a 120 gig Kingston for bout 100 bux. Not bad

I used to always get hit to build them and that's actually how got on ibuypower, I started putting the systems together on their site, then emailing the build to whoever wanted the rig and say "order this, when it gets there I will come over and install the OS for ya".

Downloaded (for free) and watched Hangover III.

I really liked it. Zach was back and Chow was wow !!

"When one of their own is kidnapped by an angry gangster, the Wolf Pack must track down Mr. Chow, who has escaped from prison and is on the lam."
I thought it was pretty good for a #III
