Yep. It's terrible that a degree in many ways is just merely a pre-req to get a job; not necessarily one even close to what you had in mind while studying endlessly. I've worked in the field before, but they're obnoxiously difficult to land. Best of luck to them in their different endeavors.

ups offers a pension and insurance for PT. Something to consider. It is possible to work a full-time job and ups. Many do just that.
