Negotiations

I think his point is, then why say the opposite? If they both know they’re going to do handshake agreement, and SOB is saying no handshake agreement, then maybe the company will think he’s bluffing about other things as well, like striking, and they are pushing negotiations farther along than needed be?
He never said anything different, if you understand the process. You, and many others, clearly don't, and that's fine given the complicated nature. There are laws in place that even SOB cannot override.

Wtf are u talking about. He told them what he wanted. A contract by august first. Can’t he ask and get what he wanted without breaking some fake rule that nobody has to follow if they don’t want to?
Unfair Labor Practices and Good Faith Bargaining are fake?

Keep repeating your point and just say it louder every time to make it more true. Pretty liberal tactic for a "non-liberal."

It's okay if you just didn't understand, I'm sure a lot of people were misguided, it's a very complex process.

Either you're a :censored2:ing troll, or you're ignorant to the whole situation. If you understand how this works, it was always the plan to have a contract in-hand by July 31 at the latest, ratification aside. The company determines this, not anyone else, and they know it.
Lol, I’ll find the video or paragraph, whatever it was.

Fair enough, I absolutley don’t understand all this. My gut tells me SOB is a fighter and is working hard for us and the union, I hope I’m right

One thing I also don’t understand, and maybe the laws you’ve mentioned play a part in this question, but is there some guideline for how much the union can ask for? Like, clearly SOB can’t ask for $100 an hour, but is there a limit to what he can ask for? Because the strike hurts the company so bad, they obviously won’t want to do that, and what if the extraordinarily high demands still cost less than a strike, would it just come down to Public perception not being on our side and more people crossing? I hope that makes sense

So he said that no handshake deals or extensions, if ups gives an offer that teamsters approves on the 31st, in your opinion should SON walk back on the no handshake or extensions, or should we strike while we vote?

I think $25 starting is fair with strong progressions or a top out after certain amount of years
He won’t walk if they give into our demands, what would we be striking for?

They look at the books and they compose a demand list accordingly.
