UPS doesn't want fair and neither do I. We have them by the balls and it's time to pay up or hit the streets. Nothing would make me happier than to see corporate clowns and management losing their careers

There's that Measter attitude.

I don't care how good the contract is. I'm voting no so I can strike UPS to teach them a lesson. To pay them back.

I am striking, costing thousands of Teamsters their jobs, so I can teach UPS a lesson.

I am striking, making that RPCD that just reached top rate, that just bought a house and started a family, have to bump inside, bump 2 part timers, just to work and maintain healthcare, at half his hourly rate.

I am striking so those inside part time employees that get bumped by the full timers coming inside gets laid off and loses their healthcare and income.

I am striking, not giving a crap about the thousands who will be laid off, just so I can teach UPS a lesson. Brilliant!

youre going to vote no… regardless?

This :censored2: isn’t a game, man. If it’s a good and fair contract and the union endorses it, you’re doing everyone a disservice by voting no.
Although I think the union rejected the first 97 contract that was recommended by the union right? And from what I hear that really paid off for the union.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

In 97 I had a house under construction when we went out, talk about stress. That dumb bastard probably lives with his mother.

I didn’t know that, but if true that’s a fair point. I suppose the union also endorsed the last :censored2: contract that was voted down also

I just don’t like the attitude of “going to vote no for any reason”. People watching YouTube videos on how to negotiate with used car salesmen and think they know how this works.

We never even voted on the offer before we went on strike in 97

We'll hire teamsters in record numbers after a strike.

Multiple Feeder and RPCD jobs will open up do to a bump in pension.

A strike will be nothing more than a short term inconvenience for Teamsters that will create long term benefits.

UPS totally restructuring their corporate division will create more record profit.

No Teamsters will lose their job because of a strike, nothing but a scare tactic.

Ok, I thought someone said that’s how they got such a good contract
Renegotiated and UPS decided to call their last best and final offer with the union rejected and did not allow us to vote on because it was subpar. After two weeks on strike , the company related to most of the demands.

Give us tomorrow's Lotto numbers while you're at it...

In 97 I feel the union was more up front on strike issues. The main one being the pension.
My only problem is union officials still get paid during a strike. It’s easy to make threats and posters when you know you have a paycheck coming in. Part of their salary should be reduced during a strike.

We have a well funded strike fund that we did not have 1997.
